    • Backward attenuation/km (if asymmetric) 
    • Polarization mode dispersion
    • Polarization-dependent loss (PDL)
    • Dispersion (chromatic and material)
    • Zero-dispersion wavelength
    • Dispersion flatness over spectrum range
    • Birefringence
    • Cutoff wavelength.
